For 8 years our family lived in British Columbia Canada, where wooden houses and log cabins are the norm, routinely lasting 50 years or more. A carpenter/joiner by trade I often wondered why these cabins had not been discovered in the UK. In 1992 we returned to the beautiful coastal county of Pembrokeshire where the extended family started a small Hot Tub company selling Spa's and building Decks, Pergolas and Hot Tub Surrounds.
As the company grew we saw the need for good quality Hot Tub enclosures and Spahaus the company was born.
Our company philosophy is simple. To provide top quality brand name cabins as well as some of the better home grown products straight from the importers to your home. We sell exclusively on the web in order to offer the widest choice at the best prices. With no showrooms and low overheads we are one of the most competitive companies in the UK. Building your Spahaus log cabin using our well-illustrated, step-by-step plans (supplied with each cabin) to guide you through every stage of construction is simple and straight forward.
The result is a professional-looking job that you’ll be proud to call your own.The diagrams shown below are intended to give you a feel as to how simple these cabins are to build. However you should refer to supplied instructions before assembly.
No problem if you don’t have the time or the inclination to do the job yourself: any reputable builder could do the job for you.
Fine Materials
Your cabin components are precision-cut from top quality Scandinavian softwood for a perfect fit, first time.
The timber comes from well-managed forests where indigenous wildlife and forest industries co-exist – and where the rate of tree-planting exceeds the rate of harvesting.
Different cabins feature different log thicknesses.Thicker logs provide bigger cabins with additional strength, insulation, and resilience to cope with extended year-round use.

Weatherproof Design
Another feature of your Spahaus log cabin is the ingenious way that wall logs interlock for strength and weatherproofing. The upper and lower faces of wall logs come with deep tongue-and-groove joints for a tight windproof join.
At the corners, alternate layers of wall logs link via a wind-block timber engineering system that builds into a solid, weatherproof wall.
